Privacy Policy
CueVision (“we”, “the app”) is a billiards training application for iPhone, iPad, and Android. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information we process
- Training data on your device: drills, hit/miss results, progress, streak, and profile settings are stored locally on your device.
- Camera: used only when you start camera training or scanning. Video frames are processed on your device for ball detection and feedback. We do not upload your camera feed to our servers by default.
- Microphone / speech (optional): used only if you enable voice coach features that require device speech services.
- Purchases: subscriptions are handled by Apple (App Store), Google Play, and RevenueCat. We receive subscription status (for example, whether CueVision Pro is active), not your full payment card details.
- Optional account / leaderboard: if you create an account or connect the leaderboard, an account identifier, email (when provided), display name, and score may be stored with Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) so rankings and sign-in can work.
- Network: the app may use standard HTTPS to talk to Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Firebase.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your camera recordings for advertising.
- We do not require an account to use core offline training features.
- We do not use advertising ID for ads in CueVision.
Data sharing
We share data only as needed to run the app:
- Apple / Google — store purchases, restore, and platform services
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management
- Firebase (Google) — optional auth and leaderboard sync if you sign in
Data retention
Local training data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear app data. Optional account and leaderboard entries remain until you delete your profile in the app or request deletion using the contact email below.
Your choices
- You can deny camera/microphone permission in system settings.
- You can use the app without connecting leaderboard sync.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store / Google Play subscription settings.
- You can sign out or delete your profile in the CueVision Profile screen.
- To request deletion of cloud account/leaderboard data, contact us using the email below.
Children
CueVision is not directed at children under 13. Do not use optional cloud features if you are not permitted to do so.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
